The Carnarvon Fruit and Vegetable Association was formed in the 1960’s. After the original building burnt down in the mid 1980s the business moved to a new site and became the Carnarvon Growers Association.
Although the association has undergone many iterations over the years it’s purpose has remained the same “here for the growers”. As a not for profit association CGA now focuses on providing benefits to members.
If you have any stories about the ‘ol days in Carnarvon, the Association is currently putting together a history of horticulture in the region. Please get in contact with the Association Secretary to provide input to the project; firstname.lastname@example.org
